Once again, I put my twins down for a nap. This time I was sure there were
no books , no pens or pencils and no
chairs in sight. It was quiet alright and I gave them about 10 minutes, what could they possible do that they haven't already? I am telling you, if one doesn't think of it, the other one surely will.
I can't wait for tomorrows nap.
at least they are potty trained.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a scene from CSI: Nursery
ReplyDeleteoh I so remember those days.
ReplyDeleteI would find mine inside dresser drawers; all of the drawers empty and open and the dresser leaning/hanging from the tether on the wall. I finally got so tired of the shenanigans that I started sitting in their room until they fell asleep. They keep you on your toes that's for sure!
haha, poor little stuffed friend. my 2 1/2 year old is the same way. try to keep laughing!
ReplyDeleteOh Jane.....Those adorable little girls sure keep you on your toes.
ReplyDeleteOh man. I think I would be tempted to retire the nap but probably not. At least their shenanigans don't involve poop.
ReplyDeleteThose girls, next we'll be hearing about them glueing everything to ceiling!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have to install a camera or something!!! Your girls are very deceiving looking all cute like that... What mischievous little tikes. I love it!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI tune in every day just to see what they are up to! Can't wait 'til tomorrow!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving these nap posts!
ReplyDeleteI know it's a pain but I sure can't wait to see what the next idea they have is!
I wish I had a solution Jane but all I have to say is make sure you hide the sissors.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!! I think just for your sake you might need to put them in a rubber room for nap time.
ReplyDeleteAAA Jane I honestly think you are a fantastic mother. Your children are happy and confident and that means you and Aaron are so good to them.
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about their daily mischief. Sorry that you have to deal with it thoug. Is it worth giving up the nap? Probably not.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your "napping" series! Those girls are so funny! You'll have to make a little scrapbook for them of just nap-time. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo funny Jane! It's a good thing they're so dang cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope those two get it all out of their system and are the most lovely teenagers ever! haha. Good thing they are too cute for words! Could Dawn be any more talented.
ReplyDeleteWhat will they think of next? At least they are probably past the smearing their poop phase!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for tomorrow's naps either...great stories!
ReplyDeleteI so understand! My boys were about 18 months, and I would go check on them in their room, and they had stripped their toddler beds, and working together, they leaned both of their beds against the wall, with the headboard on the ground, and the bottom of the bed against the wall...Also, having climbed up the changing table, and tossed the powder all over. After a couple of times finding their room in shambles, I let them have a mattress, and one blanket each. Their clothes, beds, etc. were moved out. They didn't have anything to ruin, and FINALLY took their naps. Good luck, and I'm sorry!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I think I'm comment 21, your girls are pretty popular! One day when all four kids are grown, you will miss these days. Good luck with future naps!
