Love is . . .

missing someone whenever you're apart,
but somehow feeling warm inside
because you're close in heart.
This is my favorite decoration in my mom's home, she has said it is one thing she would save in a fire. This collection of heart rocks is from my dad. Whenever he went camping or outdoors he would find a heart rock and give it to my mom. Every once in a while she or a grandchild find one and it is a reminder to me that he is still with us, I am pretty sure he has something to do with them finding a new heart for her collection.

  11. That really is a sweet post. I had many the opportunity to watch your parents exchange kindness, love and sweetness to each other... what a blessing!

I really need to re-teach my family how to bring me things back from the great outdoors. Currently, all they bring me is dirty laundry.

  12. Dad could have bought Mom all the diamonds in the world...They wouldn't have been worth as much as those outside rocks.
