All was quiet . . . again

Twenty minutes after putting my twins to bed I assumed once again that they would be fast asleep, I will NEVER assume that again. When I walked in, they were both very busy with pens and pencils drawing fast and furious all over the wall. Here is their works of art, they look a little too proud. Once again, I couldn't get mad at these faces. I let their daddy take care of time out.

  1. You are a good mom not to get mad! BUT, they are so cute!! Hopefully it cleans up easily!

  2. What the heck? That looks like a job even Mr. Clean won't be able to handle. Good thing they are cute. Now you have an excuse to repaint - you know, in your spare time.

  3. OH MY GOSH! You weren't kidding when you said "all over their walls"!

Honey, I think you're gonna need a couple boxes of magic erasers!

At least they stayed in their beds. :)

  4. Seriously Jodi, in my spare time. The walls are bound to look this way for at least another year. They also stripped the paint of the frame around my bathroom year a long time ago, it still looks horrible.

  5. Oh no!!! Those little faces are so sweet, though. I'm not sure how I would feel if I walked in on MJ doing that...

  6. I could never keep a straight face disciplining those two. They're way too adorable for their own good.

  7. Thank goodness I'm in town, and can spank them personally.

  8. Oh Jane, your girls are so cute but I would freak out. Time out would last for a LONG time for mommy. I would totally need a sedative. My younger sister wrote all over our white walls with magic marker when she was younger and you can't paint over that. My mom found something that takes it out. I'll find out what she used, maybe it will help.

  11. Magic Eraser. Period.
(Or you could just give them more colors and let them make a wall mural.)

  12. What!? You're going to paint over those wonderful masterpieces? How will the budding artist feel about that. :)
