Father's Day

I wish everyone could have met my dad, what an amazing man! I want to share a few things about him:

- FUNNY, HILARIOUS as can be, he would often have everyone rolling w/ laughter!
- Smart with a capital S! Sharpest mind, the amount of knowledge his mind held was amazing.
- Nicest, most sincere, kind, humble person on this planet, he made friends where ever he went, no matter who was there. We never went anywhere, ever without him knowing someone.
- Patient, I do not have a single memory of him raising his voice or EVER getting mad.
-Spriritual, loved to read the scriptures and loved to learn about church history
- Athletic, awesome at any and every sport he ever tried
-and Handsome to boot!

  5. He was the best - and still is. We sang "O My Father" in Sacrament meeting today, and it made me cry. My father-in-law had a way of making everyone feel welcome and at ease around him.

    Thanks for the post!

  8. Jane, What a sweet post! It sounds like your Dad was an awesome guy! What else should I suspect though, because just of what I know of you, you would have had to come from great parents. And also, from your comment on my blog, I agree, we do need to hang out more! I'll try to give ya a call sometime soon & we'll plan it!

  13. I wish I could have met your dad. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about him. I remember John and I had just started dating and I was with him when he got the news of your dad's sudden and shocking passing. He and Scott were both devastated and then proceeded to tell me that your dad was their favorite uncle, who always took an active interest in them and in the things they were persuing.
What a remarkable individual...and such a beautiful father's day triibute!
